FEE SCHEDULE


​A lawyer’s Statement of Account (bill) typically consists of three portions:
​1. Fees (profit);     2. Out-of-Pocket Expenses, also known as Disbursements (which are costs that the lawyer incurs in carrying out their retainer with you such as photocopying charges; the cost of searching Land Titles; postage costs, tax searches with the municipality, etc.);  ​​and 3. Government Sales Tax (gst).


Estate Planning Documents

Wills

For a Single Person:  $395.00 plus disbursements and gst;

For a Couple: $595.00 plus disbursements and gst;


Wills, Enduring Power of Attorney & Personal Directives (the "Full Meal Deal")

For a Single Person:  $595.00 plus disbursements and gst;

For a Couple: $825.00 plus disbursements and gst;


Mutual Wills, Enduring Power of Attorney & Personal Directives

For a Couple: $1,000.00 plus disbursements and gst;


Codicil 

Fees start at $150.00 plus disbursements and gst.


Business Matters

Incorporation & Organization

Standard Corporation: $800.00 plus disbursements and gst;

Society: $800.00 plus disbursements and gst;

Federal Incorporation with extra-provincial registration: $800.00 plus disbursements and gst.


Unanimous Shareholders Agreement

Fees start at $375.00 plus disbursements and gst.


Attending to Annual Returns, Resolutions & Acting as Records & Registered Office

Annual fee of $300.00 plus disbursements and gst.


Estate Administration

Application for Grant of Probate

$2,250.00 plus 0.5-1% of the gross value of the Estate, plus disbursements and gst
